Led by Dusseldorf partner Birgit Reese, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised HDI Deutschland AG, a subsidiary of Talanx Group, on the sale of the insurance broker FVB Gesellschaft für Finanz- und Versorgungsberatung mbH to the Dutch financial advisory organisation Yellow Hive, a portfolio company of IK Partners.
FVB is a renowned insurance broker with Germany-wide coverage, specialising in the brokerage of private and commercial insurance as well as financial investment products. Through the acquisition of FVB, Yellow Hive will enter the German market. The structure and management of FVB will remain largely unchanged.
Hogan Lovells advised HDI on this transaction with partner Birgit Reese, providing comprehensive legal advice. The team already represented the company in the acquisition of FVB in 2017.
