Paris, 1 August 2022 – Hogan Lovells has advised CNP Assurances in the signature of an agreement with UniCredit, its historical partner, for the acquisition by CNP Assurances of UniCredit’s 49% stake in CNP Vita Assicura S.p.A and the sale of 6.5% of CNP UniCredit Vita S.p.A. to UniCredit; and all connected implications for shareholders’ agreements and the distribution of insurance products. This transaction is in line with CNP’s international growth strategy.
Completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining the necessary approvals by the competent authorities.
