About HMT Limited:
It was in the early post independence era that, HMT began in a small way to meet a big commitment; ‘To manufacture mother machines to build modern industrial India’. HMT was conceived by the Government of India in 1949, and was incorporated in 1953, with the objective of producing a limited range of machine tools, required for building an industrial edifice for the country. THE 1960’s: With the success achieved in the initial years in absorbing the technology and in attaining production competence far ahead of the original plans, the Company launched a bold plan of diversification and expansion which resulted in the duplication of the Bangalore Unit and the setting up of new units at Pinjore, Kalamassery and Hyderabad. In 1967, recession struck the Indian Engineering Industry and the consumption of machine tools dipped drastically.
Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Consolidated Remuneration per month (Rs.) 18000/-
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Professional degree in Law (3 years course after graduation or 5 years integrated course after 10+2)
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :The candidate should have exposure to deal/take up the cases/matters pertaining to Commercial, Finance, Service matters including disciplinary action and other related matters etc. with different authorities, parties and honourable Courts. The candidate shall be required to handle legal functions such as drafting of legal documents, advising on legal matters and coordination with advocates on legal issues, attending hearings etc. The candidate should be well versed with Labour Laws and Corporate Laws, including arbitration procedures. Preference will be given to the candidate having practical post qualification experience of minimum 01 year in handling legal matters in Govt./Solicitor’s firm/Advocate’s firm/Private organization. The candidate should be eligible for enrolment as an advocate to undertake practice in Courts in India. The candidate must have working knowledge of Computer
