Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advises Tilt Renewables on Australia’s Waddi Wind Farm and Palmer Wind Farm

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) has advised Tilt Renewables on the procurement of the 108 MW Waddi Wind Farm in Western Australia and the 288 MW Palmer Wind Farm in South Australia.

Waddi Wind Farm was the first wind farm to reach a final investment decision in 2025, and Palmer Wind Farm is the first wind farm project supported by CIS Tender 1 to reach the same milestone.

Once complete, the projects will collectively generate enough clean energy to power around 210,000 homes each year.

HSF Kramer advised on the procurement arrangements for the projects, including wind turbine supply and installation and operation and maintenance with Vestas, and balance of plant procurement arrangements with Decmil and RJE for Waddi Wind Farm, and with BMD for Palmer Wind Farm, as well as on connection and land arrangements for Waddi Wind Farm.
