Global law firm Freshfields advises Zabka Group (as issuer) and CVC Capital Partners (as a selling shareholder) on the IPO of Zabka Group and its listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The IPO is one of the 10 largest stock market debuts in the world this year, and is Europe’s fourth largest equity offering this year.
Zabka Group operates the largest convenience ecosystem in Poland, with over 10,500 physical stores and advanced digital customer offerings that include direct to consumer meal solutions and eGrocery services, among others.
The Freshfields team was led by counsel Ethan Magid and partner Doug Smith who were supported by associates Angelin Oey, Lea Mansouri, Ariane Choupo and Mitch Howell, amongst others.
US tax advice was provided by partner Claude Stansbury and associate Hannah Golden. UK tax advice was provided by counsel Sam Withnall and associate Joe Williams.
