Freshfields advised viagogo on its re-acquisition of certain non-European assets of the StubHub International business from Digital Fuel Capital. The assets, consisting of brands and domain names in multiple jurisdictions outside of North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, were originally licensed by viagogo to Digital Fuel Capital in September 2021, pursuant to the final undertakings given by viagogo to the United Kingdom Competition and Markets Authority (“CMA”) following its acquisition of the StubHub Group. The re-acquisition of the assets was consummated pursuant to a consent request that was accepted by the CMA on June 5, 2025.
