Global law firm Freshfields has advised Mondi Group, a global leader in the production of sustainable packaging and paper, on its proposed acquisition of the German, Benelux and UK operations of the Schumacher Packaging Group, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of customized corrugated and solid board packaging. The transaction, which is subject to certain customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the first half of 2025.
