Freshfields advised Fomento Economico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: FMX; BMV: FEMSAUBD, FEMSAUB) on the sale of its refrigeration and foodservice equipment operations, Imbera and Torrey, to a fund affiliated with leading private equity firm Mill Point Capital Partners. The transaction was announced on July 17, 2024 and closing is subject to customary closing conditions.
