Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised B&B HOTELS, one of the leading providers in the value-for-money segment, on a complex transaction involving 30 hotels of AccorInvest Group in Germany. The takeover is the largest in the company’s history in the Central & Northern Europe region and represents an important milestone in the strategic development of B&B HOTELS.

The complex multi-asset transaction was completed together with partners BC Partners and Hova Hospitality. BC Partners acquires the hotel properties from AccorInvest and leases them to B&B HOTELS on a long-term basis.

With the new locations, B&B HOTELS expands its offering by 2,308 additional rooms and at the same time strengthens its presence in major cities and tourist regions. The company plans to modernize the hotels gradually and with consideration for ongoing operations. By this, B&B HOTELS consistently continues its expansion course with the aim of becoming the leading value-for-money hotel chain in Europe.
