The European International Model United Nations will be held on July 15-22. TEIMUN is the oldest MUN conference in Continental Europe and was established already in 1987. TEIMUN strikes a good balance between a professional atmosphere and social interaction between the delegates. Throughout the week there are council sessions that are also balanced out with excursions and parties. As a consequence, it is a very good starting point for first time MUNers, as well as being a very challenging conference for MUN veterans. TEIMUN strives to maintain excellence in both quality of the conference as well as bringing delegates together.
TEIMUN takes place in The Hague, the international city of peace and justice and home to institutions such as the International Criminal Court, Europol and the Yugoslavia Tribunal. During the conference you will have the unique opportunity to visit such institutions together with your fellow delegates. On top of this, you can make lifelong friendships with people from all over the world through being engaged in sessions and attending various parties such as the Gala, evening drinks and the beach BBQ.
The theme of TEIMUN 2018 is “Unification or fragmentation: challenges in a globalising world“.
