National Legal Drafting Competition, 2018; Register Now (Win Cash & Fellowships in Prizes)

Legal Desire Media & Publications is pleased to organise online ‘National Legal Drafting Competition, 2018’ which includes drafting of Plaint, Written Statement, Bail Application & Writ Petition. The objective of the competition is to improve the drafting skills of students while keeping in mind practical constraints.

Participation:

Interested Law Students from Institution recognized by Bar Council of India can register in team of 2 Members or Individual to take part in this competition.

The Participants need to draft the documents on the cases assigned for different documents. The Guidelines to draft the competition concerned documents will be provided. The Marking Criteria of the Drafting is as follows:

1. Plaint & Written Statement: 30 Marks
2. Bail Application: 20 Marks
3. Writ Petition: 50 Marks

Total Marks: 100

The top scorer will be chosen as Winner & Runner-up’s as per marks scored.

• In Case of Team Registration, The above prize will be separately awarded.
• Legal Desire Research Fellowship is a 3 Month programme during which the research fellow is required to do research, policy drafting and analysis work with mentorship of editorial board of Legal Desire. After the completion of fellowship, the fellow receive the amount as mentioned above in prizes alongwith recommendation letter. This fellowship will start from the month chosen by the winners.

• In Case of Team, Both member needs to register separately.
• Team Members can be of different institution.
• One Member can be a part of only one team.
• The Competition is only open to current Law Student from recognized Institution by Bar Council of India.
• There won’t be any change in team after registration.
• Registration amount is non-refundable
• Within the Registration Fee, The Guidelines to draft the competition concerned documents will be provided without any extra costs.
