The student housing project, promising high-quality and sustainable accommodation, is expected to contain 600 beds. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with an expected date of completion set for the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Speedwell has over 45 years of experience in the real estate industry. The company adheres to the highest European building standards, including BREEAM and WELL certifications.
A team from DLA Piper’s Warsaw office worked on the transaction and was led by Michał Pietuszko, partner in the Real Estate practice. He was supported by senior associate Justyna Bartnik and junior associate Julia Rożankowska.
Michał Pietuszko, partner, said: “The student accommodation segment is a dynamic area in the wider real estate sector, and working with Speedwell on the purchase of this centrally located asset has been a fantastic experience and we look forward to supporting them on their journey in Poland and beyond.”
