DLA Piper has advised Allianz Real Estate, the dedicated real estate investment manager within the Allianz Group, on the provision of financing by several Allianz Group companies to an institutional investor via Arminius Group, an independent transaction and fund manager, for the financing of the acquisition of the Grand Campus in Frankfurt.
Also known as the Trading Center or Dienstleistungszentrum (DLZ), the Grand Campus is located at Mainzer Landstraße 151, 153, 157, one of Commerzbank AG’s central locations in Frankfurt – in addition to the Commerzbank Tower -, and consists of three buildings and underground parking on a 22,050 sqm plot. The building complex comprises highly efficient, flexible and modern floor plans that span across 60,780 sqm. The Grand Campus is fully let to Commerzbank AG on a long-term basis.
