Dentons announces today that Sarah Myers Raben has joined the Firm as Of Counsel in our Tax practice group and is part of the Tax Controversy team. Raben is a trusted advisor, adeptly handling a broad range of federal tax controversy matters for individuals, partnerships and corporations.

As a former trial attorney for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Raben has experience handling negotiations with opposing counsel and complex tax litigation. Her tenure as a lawyer at the IRS also involved cross-divisional collaboration with other legal professionals, negotiating settlements and litigating tax cases. One of her most notable achievements was leading a three-person trial team in a docketed tax deficiency case in the Large Business & International division.
