Dentons, the world ’s largest law firm, announces today that Preston H. Neel has joined the Firm’s Corporate practice as a shareholder in the Birmingham, Alabama, office.
Neel advises clients across multiple industries in the areas of business and tax law, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and general corporate representation. He also has extensive experience providing financial services litigation and regulatory compliance assistance to banks and nonbanks offering mortgage, unsecured small dollar and business purpose loan products and broker-dealers offering securities-based loan products.

Neel holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Alabama and Texas and is an inactive Certified Public Accountant in both states. Prior to law school, Neel worked as an accountant for Arthur Anderson, LLP, and KPMG, LLP, as well as a financial analyst for J.P. Morgan.
