Prague—Global law firm Dentons provided GymBeam with vendor due diligence support in connection with its second investment round, through which it secured €30 million in new capital. The investment was made by two new investors – PortfoLion Capital Partners and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Existing investor Crowdberry continues to remain involved in the company. The transaction was managed by advisory groups Corpin and Rothschild & Co.

The new capital will be used primarily to strengthen production and logistics across Europe, including investments in production lines in Slovakia, the acquisition of a manufacturing company in Germany, and the expansion of automated warehouse capacities in Italy and Slovakia. The investment will also help accelerate GymBeam’s expansion into key Western European markets.

“GymBeam is a rapidly growing tech-driven e-commerce group, and we are proud to have assisted them at such a significant milestone in their growth,” said David Šimek, M&A partner in Prague.

“The Dentons team provided comprehensive vendor due diligence focusing on the key legal aspects of the group and its readiness to welcome new international investors,” added Juraj Gyárfáš, M&A partner in Bratislava.

M&A partners Juraj Gyárfáš (Bratislava) and David Šimek (Prague) led Dentons’ legal team on the deal. The team also included Michal Záthurecký (Senior Associate), Alen Gondek (Associate), Soňa Beňo (Senior Associate), Natália Hangáčová (Senior Associate), Michal Distler (Junior Associate) from the Bratislava office, and Kateřina Kučerová (Associate) from the Prague office.

As one of the fastest-growing e-commerce and FMCG players in the sports nutrition and healthy lifestyle sector in Central and Eastern Europe, GymBeam plans to use the raised funds to further strengthen its competitiveness, expand its product offering, and streamline operations across European markets.
