
Global law firm Dentons announces the arrival of equity partner Paolo Rusconi as Head of the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice in Milan, alongside Mattia Maggioni, who joins as senior associate.
Recognized by Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA as one of the leading lawyers in his field, Paolo Rusconi brings extensive experience in debt restructuring, banking law, and extraordinary transactions, with a particular focus on distressed M&A transactions. His clients include financial institutions, companies, and private equity funds.
Prior to joining Dentons, Rusconi was a partner at a major international law firm , where he led the Insolvency and Restructuring practice of the Milan office since 2019. Prior to that, he worked with several major Italian and international firms.
Together with Maggioni, he will further strengthen Dentons’ restructuring expertise, enhancing a team that has built a solid track record advising Italian and international companies and investors on complex restructuring transactions.
With their arrival, Dentons’ Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice in Italy now comprises one partner and five lawyers at different seniority levels. The team will work in close collaboration with lawyers from other practice groups, ensuring a fully integrated and coordinated approach to cross-practice matters.
