Dentons is delighted to announce that James Batham will be joining the firm as co-Clients and Markets Partner in the firm’s UK, Ireland and Middle East (UKIME) region. He will join existing Clients and Markets Partner, Martin Fanning, to progress the root and branch strategic review placing clients at the centre of the UKIME region’s strategy. Both will work closely with UKIME CEO Paul Jarvis.
The Clients and Markets Partner role was newly created in 2021 to drive Paul Jarvis’s client-centric vision. A member of the region’s Executive Committee, James will work with Martin to develop programmes that deliver the benefits of Dentons’ unrivalled international platform to regional, global and panel clients. He will also work closely with Paul Jarvis, the broader UKIME partnership and the firm’s new law offering “Dentons Helix” to enhance the firm’s client solutions and deliver on Dentons’ new strategy.

James is ranked by Chambers as an ‘Eminent Practitioner’, and enjoyed many leadership roles at Eversheds Sutherland, where he headed the Global Retail and Consumer Sector teams and served as Head of Innovation. James was lead relationship partner for some of the firm’s largest global clients and enjoys a reputation for being entrepreneurial and effective.
