Dentons Kensington Swan elects new Chair

Dentons Kensington Swan is pleased to announce the election of Hayden Wilson as the firm’s new Chair. Hayden’s appointment takes effect from 1 October. He replaces David Campbell who is stepping down from the board after six years of service, the last three as Chair. Hayden will also join the Global Board of Dentons.

Hayden brings a wealth of governance and leadership experience to the role. A senior and experienced litigator, Hayden has previously led the firm’s litigation group. He is recognised by Legal 500 as a leading litigation lawyer in New Zealand.

Hayden has been an active Board member for three years and has an exciting vision for the future of law and Dentons Kensington Swan.

“We are delighted that Hayden been appointed as our new Chair. Hayden has an absolute commitment to client service and a deep understanding of our business. We know with his guidance, we are in a strong position to continue building the firm of the future,” says Charles Spillane CEO. “We would also like to thank David Campbell for his incredible contribution and commitment to the setting the strategic direction of Dentons Kensington Swan during his tenure as Chair. He, alongside Hayden, were key driving forces behind our decision to seek greater international connectedness to serve our clients by combining with Dentons earlier this year.“

Hayden Wilson, Catriona Grover, Paul Buetow and Hayley Miller now form the firm’s board. The equal representation of women and men at the highest levels of the firm’s governance is something the firm is truly proud of, and speaks volumes about Dentons Kensington Swan’s culture and our commitment to diversity.
