Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners (“Dentons HPRP”) has announced that Sartono has been appointed Managing Partner of the firm. This change took effect from 14 February 2022.
“Mr. Constant Ponggawa’s leadership has been extraordinary. We are grateful that under his leadership our firm managed to perform remarkably, including joining Dentons in 2018 and becoming part of the largest law firm in the world, as well as being able to overcome various challenges that were not easy, including challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Sartono, Managing Partner-elect of Dentons HPRP.
He realizes that shifting patterns of interaction and business transactions that continuously develop and change, especially during this pandemic, won’t make future challenges easier. “With the 4.0 revolution launched by the government as well as developments in technology, we will continue what the firm has remarkably done and of course we will continue to improve our professionalism and expertise as legal service providers to fit all changes, including aspects of information technology in providing the best service for our clients,” he explains. “Changes in how we communicate and work also have had a great impact on our internal interactions. It is important to continue maintaining our good working environment for all Dentons HPRP members,” he adds.
