Alejandra has nearly 20 years of experience as legal advisor in complex transactions in different jurisdictions, including Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Central America, and Guyana. She has an outstanding track record in the energy and oil & gas sectors, as well as in practices like financing and M&A. She has advised on the restructuring of companies in the oil & gas sector, on the consolidation of companies, and on the construction and financing of infrastructure. She has worked as in-house counsel, more recently as Legal Vice-president in Frontera Energy Corp and previously with BP Exploration Company, and as external counsel working for an international law firm. Alejandra was one of the top 100 in-house lawyers in 2016 and 2018 by “GC Powerlist Colombia”.
Pablo has extensive experience in project structuring, project finance, and project development in various transport sectors and power generation facilities in Colombia and in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Pablo has also advised international financing entities in financial closings and routinely works on M&A and asset acquisition processes in highly regulated industries in the region. Prior to joining Dentons he worked for an international firm and served in the public sector as assistant judge for the Constitutional Court.
