Dentons Cardenas advises Eurofins Scientific on the acquisition of Quasfar

Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas advised Eurofins Scientific, a leading company in the pharma and food sectors, on the acquisition of Quasfar, a Colombian laboratory based in Bogota. Eurofins is an international game player regarding food, environment, pharma, cosmetic, product testing and advanced material sciences and research, sectors.

As a result of this transaction, Eurofins consolidates its entry into Colombia’s pharmaceutical market and strengthens its expansion process in Latin America. Eurofins currently owns more than 10 laboratories in 5 countries throughout the continent. With the acquisition of Quasfar, Eurofins expects to enlarge its presence in the region and to bolster its operations in Latin America.
