Dentons advised the Sponsors, Asyad Group and Lamar Holding, on two major multi-million US dollar Saudi Aramco housing projects – the Haradh and Wudayhi Housing Projects, and the Abu Ali Housing Project in Saudi Arabia. These projects involve the development of state-of-the-art residential complexes for Saudi Aramco employees, marking a significant addition to the Kingdom’s infrastructure.

Dentons provided comprehensive legal advice on local law matters, the bidding process, project contracts, corporate aspects and finance documents. Our multi-jurisdictional team from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman successfully delivered seamless, integrated legal services, underscoring our ability to offer both local and international expertise on high-profile projects.

Project lead, Udayan Mukherjee, commented: “We are thrilled to have supported Asyad Group and Lamar Holding on these transformative projects.”

Corporate partner Ziad Saad, based in Dentons’ Riyadh office, added: “Our involvement in these projects highlights our capacity to mobilise a multi-disciplinary team from our offices in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman, delivering exceptional service to our clients.”

The Dentons team was led by partner Udayan Mukherjee (on banking matters), partner Ziad Saad (on corporate matters) and partner Yasser Taqi (on project matters) with assistance from senior associate Mohammad Al Rifai, associates Hasan Alkoofi, Warda Tahir, and Nada Al Amri and paralegal Fatma Rajab.
