On November 30, 2023, global materials technology company Mattr Infratech (Mattr) completed the previously-announced sale of its Pipeline Performance Group, the company’s pipe coating business, to Tenaris S.A. for total proceeds of US$182.6 million, including estimated working capital and US$16.9 million in cash, amounting to approximately CA$225 million.

Mattr is a growth-oriented company broadly serving critical infrastructure markets, including electrification, transportation, communication, water management and energy. With the successful conclusion of this significant transaction, Mattr’s comprehensive portfolio transformation and strategic review process have reached a substantial milestone.
