Dentons has advised Evolution Equity Partners as lead investor on Quantexa’s Series C round which raised a further £51 million. Evolution Equity Partners led the round, with major participation from pre-existing backers Dawn Capital, Albion VC and HSBC.
New investors British Patient Capital and ABN AMRO Ventures also joined previous investor Accenture Ventures in this round. Richard Seewald, Founding and Managing Partner at Evolution Equity Partners will join Quantexa’s board of directors as part of the deal.

Quantexa has built a Contextual Decision Intelligence machine learning programme, which empowers organisations to make better operational decisions by analysing disparate data points to uncover risk and discover opportunities. This round of funding will allow Quantexa to expand into new industries and develop more platform applications with broader cross-sector capabilities and across financial services.
The Dentons team was led by Joseph Altendorff and included Corporate associate Ben Lloyd, with other specialists from its Ventures group including Technology partner Henrietta Baker and IP and GDPR partner Alison Bryce, and Employment partner Michelle Lamb.
