Dentons has advised 7R developer on the establishment of a joint venture with Czech investor Wood & Company, to develop the third phase of the 7R Park Tczew logistics project in Poland. The transaction, which was completed under Wood & Co. Logistics sub-fund, is a pioneering investment in the logistics sector for the Czech company. The joint venture received the approval of the Chairman of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
The logistics project in Tczew, in which 7R acts as developer and co-investor, will ultimately comprise four industrial halls with a total gross lettable area of over 150,000 sq.m. The first building of 45,000 sq.m has already been commissioned and leased to ESA logistika Polska, which will occupy around 70 percent of the facility. Other warehouses within the complex are under construction.
7R Park Tczew III, which is the third construction project of 7R in Tczew, is characterized by a very good location – directly at the A1 motorway. The industrial park was designed to meet BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.
The transaction was led by senior associate Paulina Dąbek with the support of associate Magdalena Witka. Legal advice in competition law was provided by partner Agnieszka Stefanowicz-Barańska, counsel Anna Gulińska and associate Paweł Fortuna.
The entire project was supervised by Jacek Jezierski, partner in the Real Estate team in Warsaw.
