Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that partner Victor Johnson has joined the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice as partner. Resident in the Firm’s Dallas office, Johnson focuses on IP litigation.

From startups to Fortune 500 corporations, clients depend on Johnson to enforce and defend their valuable intellectual property rights, including patent, trademark, brand protection and trade secret misappropriation, as well as domain name disputes and other forms of unfair competition. He regularly represents both plaintiffs and defendants, and he assists clients against both competitors and NPEs from pre-filing investigations through jury trials as well as clients in complex commercial disputes.

Johnson has represented many manufacturing, retail and other clients in state and federal court matters involving increasingly sophisticated technology. Among those successes, Johnson represented one of the largest architecture firms in Dallas in breach of contract and fraud action against another national architectural firm, obtaining a jury verdict in excess of US$4 million, including punitive damages. He also represented an American audio equipment manufacturing company in an infringement case, obtaining judgement of US$1.25 million and permanent injunction.
