David’s Story: From Finance Major to Fighter for the InjuredWhat David Actually Does Why David is the Goto Guy Recognized by the Best

David B. Bobrosky isn’t some flashy lawyer who shows up on billboards and TV commercials. He’s the lawyer you don’t always hear about because he’s busy doing the work.

If you’ve been injured, or if someone you love has died because of someone else’s mistake, David is the kind of attorney you would want to schedule a consultation with. He’s the one who actually shows up, listens, cares, and fights with everything he’s got.

And that’s what makes him stand out. Not just his awards, not just the millions he’s won, but how he treats people, how much he cares, and how hard he’s willing to work to make things right.

David’s Story: From Finance Major to Fighter for the Injured

Before becoming a lawyer, David earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Northridge, in 1995. While there, he was elected to two national honor societies: the Golden Key National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma, which is for top students in business schools.

That tells you right away that he’s always been focused, hardworking, and pretty brilliant when it comes to numbers and logic.

After acquiring the finance degree, he wanted to use his skills to help real people, so he went to Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1998.

At Pepperdine, he also got on the Dean’s Honor List and earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute, which is one of the top programs in the country for mediation and settling cases without always going to court.

What David Actually Does

At the heart of David’s work is one core focus: helping people who’ve been hurt because of someone else’s carelessness.

That sounds simple, but the situations he deals with are anything but. He works on what are called personal injury and wrongful death cases, which means he represents people who’ve been physically injured or families who’ve lost someone because another person, a company, or even a government agency didn’t do what they were supposed to.

The cases include:

  • Car, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, some of which sadly ended in death.
  • Slip and fall incidents, where people are seriously hurt because a place wasn’t kept safe.
  • Construction site accidents that left workers permanently disabled.
  • Animal attacks and maulings, especially when owners fail to control dangerous dogs.
  • Product liability cases, where faulty products caused serious harm, such as burns or deformities.
  • International trucking companies that used unsafe drivers or vehicles.
  • Theme parks that ignored safety rules.
  • Major corporations that didn’t keep their properties safe for customers.
  • Even local, state, and federal government agencies, when roads, walkways, or structures weren’t maintained safely.

He’s also dealt with cases where law enforcement broke safety procedures and even with railroad and commuter companies like Metrolink and Amtrak, when their carelessness caused serious accidents.

Why David is the Goto Guy

What makes David different isn’t just the types of cases he works on; it’s how he works with his clients. He’s what people call a hands-on lawyer. He’s not the type of lawyer to be hiding behind assistants or just sending emails.

He’ll go with clients to their doctor’s appointments, he’ll answer calls outside of business hours, and he’ll sit with people who are scared, in pain, or grieving, and actually help them understand what’s going on.

That human side of David is a big part of why he’s been able to get multi-million-dollar settlements and awards for his clients. He’s there every step of the way, from the very first phone call, all the way through mediation, arbitration, or trial.

And the thing about David is that he doesn’t just fight to win. He fights to do what’s right. Sometimes that means going to trial. Other times, it means negotiating a fair settlement so the client doesn’t have to deal with more stress or risk. And David always chooses what’s best for the person he’s representing, not what’s easier, or what pays more.

Recognized by the Best

It’s one thing to say a lawyer is good. It’s another to be recognized by other lawyers, year after year, for being one of the best.

David has been honored multiple years in a row by Los Angeles Magazine, which included him in their list of:

  • Rising Stars (from 2009 to 2012)
  • Super Lawyers (from 2013 all the way to 2025)
