Clifford Chance Brussels facilitates Aikido Security’s Successful Financing Round Led by Notion Capital, Connect Ventures, and Inovia.

Clifford Chance Brussels has advised Aikido Security, a cutting-edge B2B cloud security software start-up, and its founders on a new financing round raising €5 million. The funding round, spearheaded by prominent venture capital investors Notion Capital, Connect Ventures, and Inovia, along with support from existing investors, is earmarked to fuel the expansion of Aikido’s AI-powered cybersecurity tool for software developers. Aikido Security’s product responds to both software developers’ wish for an all-in-one tool to flag cyber risks, and the increasing tech regulation relating to cybersecurity, such as the EU NIS2 Directive.

Founded in Ghent in 2022, Aikido Security has been at the forefront of simplifying cybersecurity for developers. Earlier this year our team advised on Aikido’s successful €2 million pre-seed round. This latest funding achievement underscores the breadth of our Brussels office’s offering to promising growth firms.
