International law firm Clifford Chance is advising Partners Group, the leading global private markets firm, acting on behalf of its clients, on the acquisition of one of the largest district heating platforms in the Baltic region from Finnish energy company Fortum Corporation.
The platform operates across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and has 74 generation assets, which generate heat capacity of 881 MW and power capacity of 130 MW across 387km of district heating networks.
