International law firm Clifford Chance has acted for ING on a Finnvera-covered export credit facility agreement and an EKN-covered export credit facility agreement for Digi Communications N.V., a leading telecommunication group with businesses in Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium.
The Clifford Chance Amsterdam, Madrid and Bucharest teams together with the Hannes Snellman teams in Helsinki and Stockholm advised ING Bank N.V., EKN and Finnvera on these swiftly concluded twin export credit financings.
The debt financing for Digi will be used towards the supply of telecom equipment and services to the company’s entities in Romania and Portugal under contracts with Ericsson and Nokia.
