Clifford Chance advises Energix Polska on agreement with Axpo to optimise Poland’s largest battery energy storage system

Global law firm Clifford Chance advised Energix Polska, a renewable energy developer and independent power producer, on negotiating and signing an agreement with Axpo to optimise Poland’s largest battery energy storage system (BESS).

The installation, in Nowy Czarnów (West Pomeranian Voivodeship), has a capacity of 24 MW and storage of 56 MWh.

Under the agreement, Axpo will optimise the BESS’s commercial operations, including issues related to the revenue strategy and participation in the ancillary services market. This collaboration advances energy storage infrastructure in Poland.
