Clifford Chance advises COSCO Shipping Ports on the refinancing of its terminal in the Port of Valencia

Clifford Chance advised CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal, S.A.U. (controlled by COSCO Shipping Ports), concessionaire of the Prince Felipe Pier and the East Pier of the Port of Valencia, on the refinancing of its debt.

The Port of Valencia is one of the largest logistics and transport centres on the continent, as the main container port in the Mediterranean and the fourth largest in Europe.

The Clifford Chance team was led by Global Financial Markets Partner José Guardo, with the support of Counsel Felipe Font and Associates Juan Puras and María González.

This transaction, along with others completed in recent months, demonstrates Clifford Chance’s continued involvement in some of the most complex and relevant infrastructure projects in the European market
