Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Ardian, a world-leading private investment house on its acquisition of an additional 10 percent stake in London Heathrow Airport from Ferrovial, and other shareholders of the airport, including CDPQ. This latest transaction brings Ardian’s ownership of Heathrow to 32.6 percent following its purchase of a 22.6 percent stake in December 2024.
This transaction coincides with Heathrow’s recent launch of the largest investment programme in the airport’s history, with a multi-billion-pound plan to upgrade and expand as a strategic asset for the UK economy. Completion of the transaction is subject to applicable regulatory conditions.
