Job Description:
The job holder will be accountable for drafting and negotiating contracts for MakeMyTrip Group in respect of business conducted primarily in India, South East Asia and Europe. The role will include responsibility for the following:
Demonstrates skills in negotiating complex agreements, performing risk analysis/ mitigation, developing alternate language and providing actionable recommendations, in each case, working in close coordination with the business teams to ensure that non-standard terms and conditions are properly reviewed and approved in accordance with policies and procedures.
Extensive interactions with other parties in agreement discussions and negotiations.Ā Works closely with business, finance, tax, risk and compliance, among others, to ensure a cohesive team.Ā The candidate will report to Manager,Ā LegalĀ Team. The candidate needs to be a self-motivating person, have a good commercial attitude, the ability to identify and manage risk and need to work with only the minimum of supervision.
Experience Requirements:Ā
- Approximately 4 years of post-qualification experience preferably in-house or with a major law firm. Previous experience of using contract lifecycle management system will be an added advantage.
- Must have working knowledge of corporate and commercial law and experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial and technology agreements (e.g. hotels, airlines, technology vendors, overseas suppliers, banks, marketing affiliates, lease hold properties).Ā

- Ability to respond to requests at short noticeĀ
