Call for Papers: RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (Vol. III, Issue 2)

RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (ISSN: 2347-38XX) was setup as an academic initiative to promote research and debate in areas of financial and economic impute emanating out of legal issues. The review looks to understand the legal paradigm prevalent in India and South East Asia and how it affects finance and other cross border mercantile activities. Our review generally entertains submissions which have a basis in Indian, South East Asian and International Law. It lays emphasis on publishing work that is at the cutting edge of doctrinal, theoretical and empirical research.

The journal aims at giving the opportunity to legal academia, research scholars, students, advocates and activists working for enhancement of legal scholarship. This law review serves as a platform for innovative thought sharing and will aim towards contributing in dynamic growth of legal knowledge.

Categories:

• Articles: 5,000 – 15,000 words
• Case Comments / Legislative Comments: 2,500 – 3,500 words
• Book Reviews: Upto 2500 words
• Essay: Upto 5000 words

Submissions Guidelines:

• All submissions must be 1.5 spaced in Times New Roman, font size 12 and justified.
• All submissions must be in conformity with The Bluebook, A Uniform System of Citation (19th Edition).
• Only footnotes may be used as the form of citations. End notes shall not be accepted. All footnotes must be in Times New Roman, size 10, single-spacing and justified. The rules of citation are derived from The Bluebook, A Uniform System of Citation (19th Edition)
• Electronic submissions via email should be made in Word Format (.doc) / (.docx)
• Name of the author underneath the title of the submission in italics, 14 point, Times New Roman. Name and other details of the author should not appear anywhere else in the paper.
• Use of Headings and Sub-Headings is encouraged. Headings and Sub-Headings should be numbered, should be of the same font type and size as the main text and should be in bold.

Co-authoring of Papers:
Co-authoring of papers between individuals of the same or different institutions is permissible. The maximum no. of authors per submission is two, however in case of a sidebar; the permissible no. of authors is one.

Submission Deadline:
The third edition of the review has a deadline of 20th April, 2016. Late entries will not be entertained. However, the editorial board reserves discretion to waiver the above deadline. Submissions should be emailed to rfmlr@rgnul.ac.in.

RFMLR follows a double-blind peer review process, it is imperative that contributors stick to the deadlines.
