International Journal of Advanced Research in Law and Social Sciences: ISSN No. 2455-491X is a peer reviewed ‘Online Quarterly’ Journal of ‘The Lords Advocate’, an organisation working for the development of legal studies and research. It aims at extending help and support in imparting quality education and enhancing skills of the students.
The Advisory Council consist of Ms Pinky Anand (Additional Solicitor General of India), Prof. (Dr.) Mrinal Raste, Prof. (Dr.) N.K Chakrabarti, Mr. Anil Xavier and it is under their constant guidance and support that the Journal and Editorial Board functions.
Innovation being a constant need of the hour, the Editorial Board has come up with a new idea so as to inculcate a better and thorough understanding of research and to develop skills that are essentially important for law graduating students. The idea is to enrich and infuse efficiency in writing and has a better understanding of the subject matter in concern and importantly to give a boost to the quality of work the journal solicits. Call for Applications for Research Curators-
The organisation calls for application by enthusiastic legal eagles to be a part of the outsourcing team as the Research Curators to enhance the connectivity in your law college and thereby having a wider reach for imparting quality research skills and techniques.
Duration– 1 year (The tenure may be increased or decreased which shall be solely based upon the performance of the candidate in concern.)
Minimum Criterion-
- A person applying should be enrolled in a full time five year integrated law course i.e. B.A. LL.B or any other or in a three year law course i.e. LL.B.
- The applying candidate should at least be in 2nd year of study, both in case of such students as enrolled in a five year integrated law course or in a three year law course.
- Proficiency in using MS-Word is an essential requisite and that the student must be proficient in both speaking and writing in English language.
Selection Criterion-
- The selection shall be solely based on merit and that the primary stage includes screening of the CV and Statement of Purpose of not more than 250 words, highlighting as to why should you be selected for the post.
- The secondary screening involves a personal interview that shall be conducted telephonically, only upon intimation of short listing of CV.
Call for Application for Assistant Editors-
The organisation invites applications for Assistant Editors in the Journal i.e. IJARLS. The nature of work shall focus on primary screening of paper i.e. plagiarism check on the first hand, then checking the grammar and contents and subsequently as would be directed by the Executive Editors and Editors.
Duration– 1 year (The tenure may be increased or decreased which shall be solely based upon the performance of the candidate in concern)
Minimum Criterion-
- A person applying should be enrolled in a full time five year integrated law course i.e. B.A. LL.B or any other or in a three year law course i.e. LL.B.
