After Janta Dal United leader’s son Rocky Yadav and two others were convicted by the Gaya Session Court on August 31, the court pronounced life-imprisonment under section 302 of IPC for the convicts today.
Rocky Yadav and three others were indulged in the murder of Aditya Sachdeva. The deceased and three of his friends were returning home after giving their 12th board exams when they overtook an SUV being driven by Rocky. Both the deceased and convict got indulged into heated verbal altercations, After which Rocky pulled out his Beretta pistol and shot at the car’s rear windshield where Aditya was seated. He was fatally wounded and died at a local hospital.
Police filed a charge sheet against Rocky Yadav and another accused in Gaya Court. The charge sheet was also against Bindi Yadav and his MLC mother’s bodyguard, Rajesh Kumar, and cousin, Teni Yadav in the murder case.The Supreme Court, earlier in October 2016, stayed the bail granted by the Patna High Court to Yadav, who is the main accused in the killing of 19 year-old-schoolboy in a road rage case in Gaya on May 7, 2016.
Rocky Yadav was arrested on May 12, 2016 from his father’s farm in Bodh Gaya.
Yadav’s parents, Manorama Devi and Bindi Yadav were accused of protecting him while he was on the run after the murder. Accused father gets 5-year imprisonment in jail.
