Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has advised New York-based investment firm New Mountain Capital in connection with its acquisition of the Applied, Food and Enterprise Services businesses (“AES”) from the Discovery & Analytical Solutions segment of PerkinElmer, Inc.
The AES business includes PerkinElmer’s leading OneSource laboratory and field services, along with a portfolio of atomic spectroscopy, molecular spectroscopy, and chromatography instruments, consumables and reagents that serve the biopharma, food, environmental & safety and applied end markets.
Jointly led by the Firm’s London Private Equity and Corporate Reorganisations teams, Baker McKenzie fielded a global team, coordinating lawyers across 33 jurisdictions and multiple specialisms, with significant use of its market-leading legal project management team and legal tech solutions.
