Baker McKenzie advised EDF Invest, the investment arm of EDF for non-listed Dedicated Assets, on the acquisition of a 50% stake in OPPCI Parcolog Invest, the owner of a portfolio of logistics assets, as well as on the negotiation of the partnership documentation with the Generali group. The Firm also assisted the two partners in obtaining the required merger control authorizations.
EDF Invest’s acquisition of a stake in the OPPCI Parcolog Invest, alongside the Generali group which retains 50% of the vehicle, confirms its interest in the logistics sector.
To date, OPPCI Parcolog Invest owns nine leading logistics assets in France, including a logistics park at Moussy le Neuf, near Roissy, and two XXL platforms at HĂ©nin Beaumont (Lille) and Plaine de l’Ain (Lyon).
