  • The Kyiv office of Baker McKenzie acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Digital Media Solutions (DMS), a leading provider of technology-enabled digital performance advertising solutions, in a multi-jurisdictional transaction for the acquisition of assets of ClickDealer, a global performance marketing company.
  • The deal will allow DMS to expand its brand-direct business globally, enabling DMS to serve more advertisers and consumers in key verticals and end markets.

The Baker McKenzie Kyiv team working on the transaction was led by Senior Associate Alyona Furda under the supervision of Managing Partner Viacheslav Yakymchuk and included Associates Artem Sinelnikov and Oleksandr Savvi (Corporate), Dmytro Skydan (Intellectual Property), Olga Sikorska (Employment) and Ievgen Bidnyi (Dispute Resolution). The team’s work on this transaction covered the due diligence exercise of ClickDealer Ukraine and its assets, contribution to transactional documents and assistance with post-closing matters.

Commenting on the transaction, Viacheslav Yakymchuk, managing partner at the Kyiv office of Baker McKenzie, said:

“We are thrilled to have been involved in this transaction, which not only highlights the continued interest of investors in the IT sector, but also proves the resilience of the industry amid challenging times. We are proud to have played a part in facilitating this deal and look forward to continuing to support our clients in navigating complex cross-border transactions.”
