Baker McKenzie advised its client Brenntag, the leading chemicals and ingredients distributor in the acquisition of Quimica Delta, a Mexican-based distributor of chemicals operating a last mile service operation network with access to tollgates in the central area of the country, which also has a long history in this area and longstanding relationships with supply partners.
The deal is pending regulatory approval. Financial information, including purchase price is confidential at this moment.
Quimica Delta’s main facilities are located in Teoloyucan, close to Mexico City and it has major customers in Central Mexico, with a diverse portfolio of industrial chemical products, it also operates several rail terminals and has access to maritime port infrastructure at Altamira, strategically located as a tollgate for chemicals mainly imported from the United States.
