Global Antitrust partner Hugh Hollman has been appointed to the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section (the Section’s) leadership team for the 2022-23 term.
Hugh continues to serve, as he has done for several years, on the editorial board for the Section’s Antitrust Magazine, which is known for its innovative peer-reviewed coverage of the latest court decisions, legislation, and other developments.
The Section is the world’s leading community of antitrust, consumer protection, and data privacy professionals. It aims to advance policies that preserve competition and protect consumers, and runs a comprehensive range of conferences (of which the annual Spring Meeting is particularly well known), programs, publications and discussion groups. Members include leading private and in-house antitrust practitioners, representatives of federal and state government agencies, the judiciary and academics.
Hugh is highly regarded for his international antitrust expertise across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on energy, communications and media, and industrial and manufacturing, for a wide range of global clients. He is able to draw upon both private and public sector experience, including a previous role as Chief Antitrust Counsel for one of the world’s largest energy companies and serving in a senior position at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
