Allen & Overy (A&O) is pleased to announce the appointment of Magdalena Nasiłowska as a partner in its Corporate practice in Warsaw.

Magdalena joins A&O from Baker McKenzie, where she has been a partner since 2019. She acts for both public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. She also advises Polish companies and investors in commercial and corporate governance-related matters and has a wealth of experience in coordinating projects covering a broad range of integrated services, including post-merger integration, supply chain transformation, and general corporate structuring. Upon joining A&O, Magdalena will focus on developing the Tech M&A practice and will continue to advise leading global clients in the defence sector in Poland.

Together with Magdalena, Allen & Overy will be joined by Piotr Szczeciński, Counsel, and Jakub Żebrowski, associate. The combined corporate team headed by Jarosław Iwanicki and Magdalena Nasiłowska will encompass eleven counsels and associates.

Arkadiusz Pędzich, managing partner of the Warsaw office, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Magdalena to our team to help us continue to expand our offering. As a practitioner, Magdalena has a strong background and a deep knowledge in the tech and defense sectors. Her expertise and network will complement our existing offering and enable us to provide our clients with the best possible service and solutions in this dynamic and competitive market.”

Jarosław Iwanicki, partner in the Corporate practice in Warsaw office added: “Magdalena’s appointment reflects our strategic ambition to grow our corporate practice in Warsaw and to reinforce our position as a leading firm for complex and innovative transactions in Poland and beyond.”

Magdalena Nasiłowska added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Allen & Overy team. I’m looking forward to bringing my expertise to A&O’s client base and working with the reputable team in the Warsaw office and beyond.”
