On October 13, 2022, Himanshu Srivastava, a complainant, filed a lawsuit against Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and other Adipurush cast members in the Jaunpur district court. The complainant claimed that the teaser offended Hindus’ religious feelings by inaccurately and unjustifiably portraying Lord Rama, Sita, and Ravana.
