
Linklaters has advised JP Energie Environnement (JPee), a leading independent French renewable energy producer, on a major refinancing of 427 MW of wind and solar projects. A total of €430 million in debt financing was raised from Bpifrance, CIC, Société Générale, Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies, as well as the banks of the Crédit Agricole Group.
The refinancing covers 19 wind farms (including one currently under construction) and 25 solar plants, representing a total capacity of 427 MW—close to 70% of JPee’s total installed capacity. Launched in the first half of 2025, the transaction is part of JPee’s strategy to strengthen its position as a major player in France’s energy transition.
