Clifford Chance advises Cityforward on the sale of its residential development portfolio to Home Invest.
The transaction represents a developable programme of approximately 75,000 m² of housing, commercial spaces and public facilities on prime locations in the centre of Brussels (part of the EU district). The residential development portfolio was part of the “EU portfolio” that Cityforward acquired together with SFPIM from the EU Commission in 2024.
This strategic move by Cityforward is aimed at enhancing its focus on core business areas and optimizing its asset portfolio. The sale to Home Invest, a leading real estate investment company, is expected to bring significant value to both parties, leveraging Home Invest’s expertise in managing and developing high-quality residential properties. The transaction underscores the strong demand for prime real estate in Brussels and highlights the city’s attractiveness as a key investment destination.
