Global law firm K&L Gates LLP advised Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc., a US-based producer of specialty steel products for aerospace and industrial applications, through its merger with Luxembourg-headquartered Aperam S.A., a global leader in stainless, specialty steel solutions and recycling. Aperam acquired Universal in an all-cash deal with an equity value of approximately $447 million.
