Clifford Chance advises Sunfire AG on €200 million syndicated loan agreement

Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Sunfire AG on the conclusion of a guarantee credit facility with a volume of €200 million. The financing was provided by a syndicate of six international banks, with Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft acting as mandated lead arranger, bookrunner, agent and collateral trustee.

The Clifford Chance advisory team, which had already advised Sunfire on a financing of up to €100 million by the European Investment Bank at the end of last year, was led by partner Simon Reitz (Global Financial Markets, Frankfurt) and also included Senior Associate Peter Gierl (Global Financial Markets, Munich), Associate Marcel Knörchen (Global Financial Markets, Frankfurt), Partner Mark Aschenbrenner and Associate Mona Fuchs (both Corporate/Private Equity, Munich), Partner Olaf Mertgen and Senior Associate Dr. Steffen Waadt (both Tax, Frankfurt).
