Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised PLAZZA AG (“PLAZZA”) on the successful placement of a fixed-rate bond of CHF 100 million with a coupon of 1.775 % and a maturity of five years. The capital will be used to refinance bank loans and to finance development and renovation projects.
UBS and ZĂĽrcher Kantonalbank acted as joint lead managers. Baker McKenzie advised PLAZZA on all legal matters.
PLAZZA plans, realizes, markets and manages its own properties and real estate projects in Switzerland. The company specifically manages existing portfolios of residential and commercial properties with a focus on the Zurich economic area. In addition, there are development properties and projects in the economic centers of Zurich and Lausanne, which are to be gradually put to future use.
